What we're looking for

We are seeking a talented, endlessly curious individual to join our team. You’ll be working closely with our group of companies in the fintech sector as part of the Engineering department. This company is a leading B2B fintech platform in its field, processing over US$2B across multiple currencies annually. What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain modern frontend applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS

• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and reusability

• Collaborate with backend engineers to design clean, efficient API contracts

• Ensure high standards of code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and documentation

• Investigate and resolve frontend production issues, including layout bugs, interaction quirks, and degraded performance

• Mentor junior engineers and help improve team practices in frontend architecture, testing, and performance tuning

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape and deliver seamless user experiences

What you should have

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 2+ years in React and Next.js

• Knowledge of both server-side and client side rendering especially in relation of Next.js

• Deep understanding of the modern web platform: rendering models, hydration, performance budgets, accessibility

• Strong UI/UX sensibility — able to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, accessible UIs

• Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library

• Comfortable with SSR, dynamic routing, caching strategies, and web performance optimization

• Familiarity with common frontend testing strategies (E2E, unit, integration)

• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate cross-functionally with design, backend, and product teams

• Strong communication skills — able to explain trade-offs clearly and mentor others effectively

Bonus Points

• Prior experience working in fintech or payments

• Familiarity with building design systems or working with internal design systems

• Experience building and debugging authentication/authorization flows, especially in multi-tenant systems

• Experience writing technical/architecture document like RFC/ADR
