What we're looking for

We are looking for a hands-on People and Culture Executive based in Jakarta to join Xenith as an early hire and report directly to the People and Culture Lead. This role is ideal for someone who is strong in recruitment, highly independent, and excited to grow into a broader people role over time.

This is a builder role in a scaling company. Recruitment will be the core focus, especially in the first six to twelve months, while broader people responsibilities will grow alongside the business. You will own day-to-day recruitment delivery across Xenith, support regional hiring from day one, and help build stronger processes, structure, and employee experience in Indonesia.

You will work closely with the People and Culture Lead as a direct report and partner in execution. While the role comes with room to grow, it is a hands-on role for someone who can operate independently, take initiative, and help turn an evolving people setup into something more scalable and consistent.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end recruitment across Xenith, with hiring as the top priority in your first six months.

• Partner closely with hiring managers on role scoping, candidate calibration, interview coordination, and hiring decisions.

• Support technical and business hiring across Indonesia and contribute to regional hiring across markets such as Vietnam, Cyprus, and future expansion countries.

• Build sourcing strategies and candidate pipelines to improve hiring outcomes and reduce reliance on reactive recruiting.

• Work closely with the People and Culture Lead to improve hiring discipline, candidate experience, and stakeholder accountability across the company.

• Support onboarding, offboarding, and key employee lifecycle processes so they become more structured, efficient, and consistent.

• Handle day-to-day employee relations matters in Indonesia with sound judgment and appropriate escalation.

• Support compliance-related people processes in Indonesia and help maintain good people practices as the company grows.

• Help shape culture and engagement initiatives for the Indonesia office.

• Create templates, workflows, and practical ways of working that reduce manual work and strengthen the people function over time.

• Contribute to broader people projects over time, including performance management, compensation support, and process improvement initiatives.

What you should have

• Strong experience in talent acquisition, ideally with exposure to technical hiring in a fast-moving company.

• Confidence in working independently while partnering closely with a manager on priorities and execution.

• Ability to build trust with hiring managers and challenge constructively when needed.

• Interest in growing beyond recruitment into broader people operations and employee lifecycle work.

• Exposure to employee relations, compliance, or general HR support is a plus.

• Strong judgment, ownership, organization, and follow-through in a scaling environment.

• A builder mindset and genuine interest in creating structure where processes are still evolving.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams, cultures, and time zones.

• Experience in a tech company, startup, or scale-up environment

Bonus Points

• Experience supporting hiring across multiple countries or regional teams.

• Familiarity with employment practices in Indonesia and interest in learning across other markets.

• Exposure to onboarding, employee relations, performance management, or compensation-related projects.

• Experience using ATS, HRIS, or workflow tools to improve process efficiency.

• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or another regulated environment.
